Exhibits. The museum has well over 8,500 entries in its accessions register. Many of the entries include multiple items so we estimate that we have almost 12,000 objects in our care. We are working to create a digital archive which will be available online although this project is still in its infancy.
One of the best locations to learn about this history is at the Manx Aviation and Military Museum, based in Castletown in the south of the Island. Open at weekends throughout the year, and every day from late May to September, entry is free making it an ideal place for a quick visit with the family while in the area.
