Jul 12, 2019 · Maple Heights is a city in northeast Ohio, 10 miles southeast of downtown Cleveland. It was founded by white settlers in 1813 and became a city in 1932. It has a diverse population of about 22,000, mostly African American, and a history of industrial and cultural development.
