Mark John Hellinger (March 21, 1903 – December 21, 1947) was an American journalist, theatre columnist and film producer. Biography. Early life. Hellinger was born into the Orthodox Jewish family of Mildred "Millie" (nee Fitch) and Pol Hellinger in New York City, but in later life he became a non-practicing Jew.
