800 m. Melissa Bishop-Nriagu (born August 5, 1988) is a Canadian runner who specializes in the 800 metres. She competed at the 2012, 2016 Olympics and 2020 Olympics. She won a silver medal at the 2015 World Athletics Championships. Her World Championship medal was a Canadian woman's first-ever medal in the 800 m.

After winning 800m gold at the Pan American Games in Toronto, she went to the World Athletics Championships where she broke the 14-year-old national record in the distance, becoming the first Canadian to go below one minute 58 seconds with her time of 1:57.52.
