Nancy Drew is a fictional amateur detective. She is originally depicted as a blonde-haired and blue-eyed 16-year-old high school graduate, but in later editions is rewritten as a titian-haired and blue-eyed 18-year-old graduate and detective.
In Nancy Drew: Detective, a wealthy elderly eccentric disappears after pledging $250,000 dollars to Nancy's school. Nancy is convinced the woman has been kidnapped, and with the help of her boyfriend Ted Nickerson, Nancy solves the mystery and tracks down the old lady and the kidnappers.
