    "Home Invasion" is the second episode of Nash Bridges' first season. The episode premiered on March 30, 1996.

    A home invasion crew led by Kyle Chang is breaking into Chinese homes and robbing them. They have just pulled off their seventh job. Nash, Joe, and Evan question Terence Wong, owner of a Chinatown gambling den about the home invasions, but Terence reveals nothing.

    Kyle Chang's brother Jimmy stupidly uses one of the stolen credit cards from the heist which leads Nash and Evan to him. In a street confrontation, Nash is forced to kill Jimmy Chang. Kyle Chang vows vengeance on Nash for killing his brother.

    Joe's wife Inger of 17 years has kicked Joe out of the house for filling the refrigerator with 200 lbs. of elk meat. Joe stays at Nash's apartment and breaks up Nash's daughter Cassidy's secret date with her boyfriend Trent. Meanwhile Nash rescues his second ex-wife Kelly from her Blind Date From Hell with a dentist. Nash and Kelly rekindle their romance and Kelly stays the night at his apartment.

    With Joe, Cassidy, and Kelly staying over in Nash's apartment, Kyle Chang and his home invasion crew show up and shoot up Nash's apartment. No one in Nash's family is hurt, but Nash's first wife Lisa is livid at Nash for endangering their daughter's life. Nash takes Terence Wong into custody on a trumped up gambling charge (so that Mr. Wong can save face) after revealing where Kyle is. Kyle in the meantime kills another of his home invasion partners. Nash and company close in on Kyle who tries to escape in a Winnebago. The Winnebago dives off the freeway exploding in a fireball.
