May 3, 2023 · Located in Chase, Madison County, approximately two miles northeast of Huntsville, the facility features exhibits related to railroad history and displays numerous railroad locomotives and cars; it schedules train rides on select weekends throughout much of the year.
The North Alabama Railroad Museum will run numerous train excursions on its line April through December. Please see our Train Ride Schedule for more details. Our regular (long) excursion consists of a roundtrip of 10 miles, with some great scenery thrown in.
