The City of Oak Ridge is located in the eastern part of the State, approximately 22 miles northwest of Knoxville, with a population of approximately 31,402. The City occupies a southern portion of Anderson County and an eastern portion of Roane County.
Oak Ridge is also home to over 65 miles of greenway hiking and biking trails. This vast network of trails takes visitors through beautiful wooded areas rich with wildlife, along the shore of calm Melton Lake and through many of the city’s lovely parks.
