The King’s Observatory, located in the Old Deer Park, Richmond, Surrey, was commissioned in 1769 by King George III. It’s arcadian setting in just under 7 acres must be one of the most beautiful properties in the London area. The area in which it is situated has an interesting history.

Discover Nature. Find Places To Go. James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area. The James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area is located in Jackson County, south of Highway 50 near Lee's Summit.
This park was renovated in 2008 and is home to LSPR's adult softball league and features lighted softball fields, playgrounds, walkways and a concession stand with restrooms. The park is named after a LS police officer that lost his life in a rescue attempt.
