Olesko Castle (Ukrainian: Олеський замок, Polish: Zamek w Olesku) is located within the borders of present-day Zolochiv Raion in Ukraine. The first historical records of the castle are in a document dated 1390, when Pope Boniface IX gave Olesko and Tustan to a Catholic bishop of Halych.
Dec 2021. A well-restored little castle nestled on top of a small hill. It dates back to the late 14th century and has been previously occupied by Poland, Lithuania and Hungary. There are some pleasant gardens surrounding the hill where one can appreciate the castle's architecture from all angles.
