The Baylands Nature Interpretive Center and Preserve provides a unique opportunity to view a pristine salt marsh habitat and serves approximately 130 classes and camps, 3,000 elementary students and 80,000 visitors annually.

Several easy flat walks right out to on the salt marsh or by the bayside. Watch the executive planes come and go from the small landing sites or switch the varied birdlife. We've seen hummingbirds, egrets, burrowing owls and golden orioles throughout the seasons. Take binoculars and camera.
