The 6-foot-9, 200-pounder helped perennial power Madison Prep win two Class 3A state championships. He was a second-team All-State honoree in both 2020 and 2021. In 2020 he averaged 14.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 7.2 blocks per game. He is rated three stars by 247Sports, which ranks him as the No. 216 prospect in 2022 (and the No. 31 center).
Considered an athletic shot-blocker whose post-up game includes a sky hook, Daniels had other scholarship offers from LSU, Mississippi State, Texas Christian and Tulane. Assistant coach Donald Copeland was Seton Hall’s lead recruiter. This is the first Copeland recruit to commit since he was hired over the summer to replace Tony Skinn.
