"The Right Stuff" is a song by American singer and actress Vanessa Williams, released as the first single from her 1988 debut studio album of the same name. The crossover single was very successful and became a top-five hit on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, as well as making the Billboard Hot 100.
The acclaimed movie The Right Stuff came out in 1983. The French part, "Je réside en Paris, voulez-vous venir," translates to "I live in Paris, would you like to come?" This is the work of the song's co-writer Kipper Jones, who also voiced it. He's far from fluent in French, but can write a few lines in the language.
