Saas-Almagell. Tucked away in the picturesque tributary valleys, Saas-Almagell (1672m above sea level) is the southernmost village in the holiday region Saas-Fee/Saastal. This idyllic spot enchants hikers with the Suonen Trail up to Saas-Grund and the adventure trail from Furggstalden to the Almagelleralp.
The municipality is located in the Visp district and is located approximately 5 km (3.1 mi) from Saas-Fee. It is the southernmost municipality in the Saas valley. It consists of the village of Saas-Almagell, part of the hamlet of Unter den Bodmen and the hamlets of zum Moos, Alpien and Furggstalden.

Dec 31, 2021 · Saas Almagell ski resort, in the Valais region of Switzerland, is a small ski area that is linked to the larger Saas-Fee ski resort. Saas Almagell is a quiet escape from the world-renowned Saas-Fee with some pretty decent terrain of its own. You can ski top to bottom on a combination of red runs to descend over 700m to the base of the resort.
Saas-Almagell is a typical, leisurely Valais mountain village and offers more than just broad pistes. The neighbouring Furggstalden-Heidbodme ski area is especially ideal for families and always has plenty of snow.
