Jan 15, 2023 · The fleet of US carrier Southwest Airlines continues to grow, and grow, and grow. When we covered the airline's fleet last year, the airline had just 736 aircraft. However, the carrier has since added over 40 more aircraft and continues to take vicelivery of more jets every month.

Jan 24, 2022 · According to data from ch-aviation.com, Southwest Airlines' present fleet consists of an incredible 736 aircraft. Ths comfortably makes it the world's largest all-narrowbody airline, as Simple Flying explored last year. Of these aircraft, 460 are examples of the Boeing 737-700, making up 62.5% of the fleet.
The majority of Southwest's fleet consists of Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft, with 512 and 207 in service, respectively. The airline has also recently added the Boeing 737 MAX 8 to its fleet, with 34 currently in service and plans to add more in the future.
