Jul 24, 2023 · David McGuire, who oversaw The Ellen DeGeneres Show and other Telepictures projects, is leaving the company after restructuring. He started as a production assistant on Jenny Jones in 1990 and became a key partner of DeGeneres.
Telepictures is also producing the upcoming Elizabeth Smart-led series Smart Justice for Lifetime and the new HBO Max competition series Ellen's Next Great Designer. Telepictures also formerly produced TMZ on TV , which it sold to Fox Entertainment in 2021.
