Founded in 1350, it is the fifth-oldest surviving college of the university, having been established by William Bateman, Bishop of Norwich, to train clergymen in canon law after the Black Death.

Trinity Hall offers a variety of accommodation to both its undergraduate and postgraduate students. Accommodation ranges from characterful rooms in 14th-century buildings, to ‘retro’ 1960s student blocks, to modern en-suite rooms in our latest building, WYNG Gardens, which was completed in 2016.
