Sep 20, 2022 · Verisign released the latest issue of The Domain Name Industry Brief, which shows that the second quarter of 2022 closed with 351.5 million domain name registrations across all top-level domains, an increase of 0.3% year over year. The brief also provides statistics on the top 10 largest TLDs, ccTLDs and ngTLDs by number of reported domain names, and the percentage of ngTLDs as a percentage of total TLDs and ccTLDs.
