I recently bought a backwards compatible PS3 (CECHA01) and I’ve noticed something about the system. When I put a PS2 disc in, it takes me quite a few tries to get the system to read the disc. PS3 and PS1 discs read just fine on the first go, it’s only PS2 discs. Sometimes I have to take a game out 3-4 times before the system is able to read it.
