Biography. Willy Bogner came from a ski family, as his father Willy Bogner, Sr. represented Germany at the 1936 Winter Olympics in cross-country skiing and Nordic combined. In 1960 Willy Jr. won the prestigious Lauberhorn downhill at Wengen, when he was only 17-years-old.
