Wishbaby plot "It's Not A Toy" Maxine is a dark girl, with a lot of problems, who saves the eccentric old lady Eve from a gang attack. As a thank you, she gets to hear a terrible secret from her; how to make a wishbaby, a magical doll that can grant wishes.
