Feb 23, 2009 · Halle Berry appeared onstage to present the Academy Award for Best Actress, and she blew the other five women appearing onstage with her away (more on that in our Worst Dressed section). In a brocade mermaid dress from Marchesa, she broke away from the crème and single shoulder strap trend to shine with her own style.
- Best Dressed — Miley Cyrus. Miley looked grown-up, but still cute and fun in this sparkly fish-scale-style gown. It's a little bit Mermaid, but hey, she is a Disney star after all!
- Worst Dressed — Amanda Seyfried. You'd think between her three dads in Mamma Mia! and her three moms on Big Love, one of her parents might've questioned Amanda about her Sunkist-colored dress.
- Best Dressed — Robert Pattinson. Rob looked devilishly (or is it vampire-ishly?) handsome in this classic tux. This slim cut keeps it looking totally modern (and shows off his fit vampire frame!).
- Worst Dressed — Beyoncé. B. will always be our number one Style Star, but we're not really feeling the black-and-gold extra-large floral print here. Or the crazy vase shape.
