The hike back to the trailhead from Alice Lake was pretty uneventful, and the forest section of the hike definitely felt longer (that’ll happen after you have hiked over ten miles!) Discover Alice Lake tucked away deep in the Sawtooth National Forest. This hike is the first, or last stop, depending on which direction you’re coming from, along the famous Tin Cup Hiker’s Loop. The Tin Cup Hiker’s Loop connects Alice and Toxaway Lakes with various other lakes by crossing over Snowyside Pass.

Jul 25, 2019 · The Alice Lake & Toxaway Lake Loop is one of the more popular hikes in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley, Idaho. Myself and four friends hiked the entire loop as an overnight. While camping at Alice Lake was a bit crowded, there’s no question as to why it’s so popular.
