May 26, 2022 · As part of Star Wars Celebration 2022, it was officially announced that Andor season 2 is happening. The second season will contain another 12 episodes of Cassian Andor's story, giving the prequel 24 episodes of story overall. The plan is for Andor season 2 to begin filming this fall.
