Arthur Davidson ( February 11, 1881 – December 30, 1950 [1]) is one of the four co-founders of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. He and his wife died in a car accident in 1950. [2] Arthur, his two brothers Walter and William started the company in 1903 with William Harley.
Combining their ideas and skills with some help from family and friends, Bill Harley and Arthur Davidson took the motorcycle to new heights. They built one of the largest companies in Wisconsin, the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, which is still sending bikes out onto the roads today.
