Probably didn’t like Larry getting aroused by dogs. If she quit acting it would be easy to explain her absence by saying she went off to college or something and move on with the show without her. I think Larry knows it’s dumb to replace a character with a new actor, even if it’s a small role.

- Jerry Seinfeld. Larry’s partner-in-crime needs to return to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry and his Seinfeld co-creator Jerry Seinfeld have always made a classic comic double act whenever they’ve shared the screen in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
- Wanda. No one can call out Larry like Wanda. In the early seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Wanda Sykes made frequent appearances as Cheryl’s best friend, Wanda (who is named after Sykes, but is never identified as a version of Sykes herself).
- Cousin Andy. Richard Kind makes everything better. Larry is always exasperated around his obnoxious, loudmouthed cousin Andy. Introduced in season 3, Andy is completely oblivious to social standards and always causes problems for Larry.
- Rosie O’Donnell. Rosie has an easy back-and-forth with Larry. Rosie O’Donnell hasn’t appeared in Curb Your Enthusiasm since she and Larry competed for the attention of a bisexual woman in season 8.
Mar 27, 2024 · One of the saddest changes to occur is a new actor and character being cast to replace Marty Funkhouser. The reason Vince Vaughn joined Curb Your Enthusiasm as Freddy Funkhouser in season 10 is sadly because Marty's actor, Bob Einstein, died in early 2020. Marty Funkhauser has been a core part of the series for years.
