    To apply to UBC as a transfer student, you are strongly encouraged to have 24 transferrable credits completed by May. The maximum number of credits you can transfer to UBC is 60. If you're transferring from a BC college, check that the courses will transfer to UBC. In many cases, courses from colleges or universities will substitute for UBC courses, but courses from technical institutes will not. You may also need to provide your high school transcript. Be sure that you will meet the general UBC admission requirementsin addition to the requirements specific to UBC Science. Further, we recommend that you have credit for appropriate Science courses that meet the requirements for the specialization you hope to pursue.

    UBC Science welcomes Indigenous students and has a dedicated advisor to help provide the support and advice needed. Bachelor of Science (BSc) students may take courses offered in any Faculty or School. A maximum of 18 credits outside of Science and Arts may be taken throughout your whole degree.
