From Pedernales take a motoconcho to Las Cuevas. This takes abut 30 mins and for two people on one motoconcho costs $600 pesos. (It is expensive, but there is no other public transport). From Las Cuevas a boat to Bahia de Las Aguilas costs $1800 pesos and takes fifteen minutes.

The bay is lined with 7 km (5 miles) of white-sand beaches that make up Bahia de las Aguilas. There is enough room so that multiple groups can enjoy the beach without running into each other.

May 6, 2019 · Bahia de las Aguilas is virtually unknown outside the Dominican Republic, as there are no hotels, no resorts, no villages… and barely anyone there. Not to mention, the beach is absolutely stunning. 7 km of powdery-white sand, with calm, clear aqua-turquoise sea, some trees for shade, and that’s it. I know, ALL the clichés – but trust me ...
