Visitors and their pets can enjoy the trails and outdoor spaces at Louisiana State Parks provided pets are on a leash no more than 6 feet in length, caged or crated. Dogs and other pets are not allowed to run freely on park property. Dogs are permitted in pet-friendly designated cabins.

Governor Billy Nungesser and the Office of State Parks announce the Park with Pets policy for overnight stays with dogs at cabins.
