Granville Island Hotel allows three pets of any size for an additional fee of CAD 25 per night. Both dogs and cats are welcome, but four-legged guests may not be left in rooms unattended. Guests traveling with pets are assigned to one of six pet-friendly Single King or Two Double rooms. Dog treats are always available, and there is a grassy pet relief area on the property.

Pets are not allowed inside the public marketplace because of the food, but your pooch can walk along the sidewalks and the Sea Wall with you. Along the sidewalks there are usually entertaining street performers. Dog-friendly establishments on Granville Island include the Granville Island Hotel, AquaBus ferries and a dog bakery called Woofles.
