A recognizable convention center structure on the waterfront called Canada Place was fashioned to mimic the sails of a huge ship. The center is surrounded by a promenade from which you can overlook the Burrard Inlet, Stanley Park, the North Shore Peaks, and the historic Gastown neighborhood in the interior parts.
