    Carey Wilber (26 June 1916 – 2 May 1998; age 81) was a television writer and journalist.

    At age 14, Wilber was thrown out of Catholic school for reading Voltaire instead of his prayer missal. He turned to journalism as a result, and worked at numerous newspapers, including the Toronto Globe and The New York Times.
