Chessy (prononcé [ʃɛ.ˈsi]) est une commune française située dans le département de Seine-et-Marne en région Île-de-France. Chessy fait partie du secteur 4 de la ville nouvelle de Marne-la-Vallée, appelé Val d'Europe, et de la communauté d'agglomération Val d'Europe Agglomération.
Status. Marne-la-Vallée has been gradually built up since the first plans in 1965 and now covers an area of over 15,000 hectares (37,000 acres) and includes 31 communes, in the départements of Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne. Total population (2007) is 282,150.
