Christopher Miles is an artist, curator, writer, and educator who has been on the faculty of the School of Art at California State University Long Beach since 1998. Since 2016, he has served as head of the CSULB Ceramic Arts Program, and he is the Director of the CSULB Center for Contemporary Ceramics.

For the past 20 years, he has explored all realms of art—painting, sculpture, art history—as a critic, curator, and Interim Dean of the College of Arts at California State University Long Beach. With said resume, it would seem Miles’ art would be the stuff of high theory and academic discourse.
Christopher Miles is a Los Angeles based artist. Since 1998, he has served on the faculty of the School of Art at California State University Long Beach where he is Program Head for Ceramic Arts Studies as well as Co-founder and Director of the Center for Contemporary Ceramics.
