Cnut "Longsword" Ranulfson was a main character and antagonist in both The Saxon Stories novel series, and The Last Kingdom television series. During The Last Kingdom, he acts as the overarching antagonist of Season 3, the main antagonist during the first half of Season 4, and a minor posthumous antagonist during the second half of season 4.
