    Loans are based on financial need and are federally or privately funded. Students are required to repay loans. Federal student loans may be available to FAFSA applicants; they are not available to DREAM applicants. Options: Federal Perkins Loan, Direct PLUS, Direct Stafford Loan.

    Scholarships are private funds that are made available to students through separate application processes. Scholarship awards do not need to be repaid.
