He has had solo exhibitions at Daniel Weinberg Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), John Davis Gallery (Hudson, NY), and Life on Mars (Brooklyn, NY). The artist earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the Royal Academy of Arts, London.

Apr 10, 2024 · An exhibit, honoring the legacy of African American filmmakers and actors from the early years of cinema through the Civil Rights Movement is on display here at the Detroit Institute of Arts. It's called "Regeneration: Black Cinema 1898-1971". The name is inspired by the 1923 independent movie "Regeneration", which featured an all-Black cast.
