Trail in good shape, especially south of Blackrock Gap. It's in good shape north of the gap, considering once you cross Skyline Drive, it's straight up, never flat for 700 feet elevation gain. Good flow at Blackrock Hut Spring. Windy, gusts over 30, and 43F this morning, so lots of acorns and hickory nuts on the trail.
