Durdle Door arch was created over 10,000 years ago by the sea when it formed a hole through the Portland stone. The tallest point of Durdle Door arch is 200ft.
As mentioned above the car park at Durdle Door Holiday Park will be the one to use, which stays open until from 8am to 9pm. The Lulworth Estate website states that for cars it costs £12 for all-day parking (up until 9pm) and £6 for up to four hours. Motorcycles cost £2 and large vehicles (above 5.5m and up to 16 seats) cost £20.
