Elisabeth (1269/70–19 February 1293), married ca. 1287 to Count Johann of Sayn. an unnamed son (ca. 1270–ca. 1274). Otto (ca 1272–17 January 1328). Adelheid was buried along with one of her young children (possibly the unnamed son) in Elisabethkirche.

He collected many works of art, which later became part of the Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum. He died in 1687; his son, Ferdinand Albert, inherited the Principality decades later. Ferdinand Albert, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, was a relative of the princes of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.
