Aug 27, 2009 · The current study extends the definition of European population substructure and the relationships among diverse European ethnic groups. The results generally are consistent with the observation that the largest variations in PCA (those graphically depicted in PC1/PC2) correspond to geographical relationships.

Aug 24, 2009 · The definition of European population genetic substructure and its application to understanding complex phenotypes is becoming increasingly important. In the current study using over 4000 subjects genotyped for 300 thousand SNPs we provide further insight into relationships among European population groups and identify sets of SNP ancestry ...

Keep in mind per stirpes generally follows the blood line so a spouse is not an heir under a per stirpes designation. Hypothetical per stirpes example: You have designated that your two children, Maya and Jace, are to equally inherit your IRA assets — 50% to Maya and 50% to Jace. With a standard designation, if Maya has predeceased you, her ...
In the current study using over 4,000 subjects genotyped for 300,000 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), we provide further insight into relationships among European population groups and identify sets of SNP ancestry informative markers (AIMs) for application in genetic studies.

Jan 18, 2008 · Abstract. European population genetic substructure was examined in a diverse set of >1,000 individuals of European descent, each genotyped with >300 K SNPs. Both STRUCTURE and principal component analyses (PCA) showed the largest division/principal component (PC) differentiated northern from southern European ancestry.
