3. Violin and Candlestick – Georges Braque. Georges Braque was one of the founding members of the Cubism movement which focused on the unique implementation of angles and geometric shapes. The artist blended that style into a sort of still life approach in some of his cubist paintings —most notably, a painting called Violin and Candlestick.
