English Bay Beach, also called First Beach, is located along Beach Avenue between Gilford Street and Bidwell Street and is a great place to visit, especially during the warm summer months. The popular Stanley Park Seawall runs along the east side of the beach. Our favorite things to do on our first visit were to walk the seawall (#13 in the list below), take mini-ferry rides across False Creek (#15) and walk around Granville island (#3).
- Vanier Park. Vanier Park is one of the most scenic parks of Vancouver, offering fabulous views of the downtown and Stanley Park. It’s a pleasant walk away from Kitsilano Beach, and it’s the beginning of the False Creek Seawall.
