Details about the project are scarce, but we know that the potential series would be centered around a town sheriff named Mickey, played by Baccarin. Mickey is "a Sheriff’s Deputy for fifteen years who knows every corner of Edgewater," the fictional Northern California town in which Fire Country is based, "and every one of its inhabitants."
CBS has not yet confirmed an exact episode count, but TVLine reportsthat most CBS shows are planning to have shorter seasons of 10-to-13 episodes each as a result of delayed productions.
