Gerhard von Schauenburg (* nach 1297; † 1. Januar 1352 oder 1353) war von 1346 bis 1352 oder 1353 Bischof von Minden. Später wurde er als Mindener Bischof auch als Gerhard I. bezeichnet, um ihn von späteren Bischöfen namens Gerhard zu unterscheiden.

When Gerhard I Count of Holstein-Itzehoe was born in 1232, in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, his father, Count Adolf IV. von Schauenburg und Holstein, was 11229 and his mother, Heilwig of Lippe, was 34. He married Elizabeth of Mecklenburg about 1250. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters.
In 1262, he won the Battle of the Loh Moor. In 1263, John died and Gerhard became regent of Kiel and Segeberg for John's sons. Gerhard I died in 1290. After his death, his sons subdivided Holstein-itzehoe into Holstein-Plön, Holstein-Pinneberg and Holstein-Rendsburg .

Mar 7, 1996 · Gerhard I. übernahm von der Grafschaft die Gebiete Plön, Storman und Schauenburg mit der Residenz Itzehoe, während sein Bruder Johann Ostholstein, Wagrien und Kiel erhielt. Nach dem Tode Johanns 1263 übernahm Gerhard I. für dessen Söhne die Vormundschaft, wurde gleichzeitig Regent von Holstein-Kiel.
