  4. The Skyride operates year-round, departing every 15 minutes. The first downhill Skyride for hikers departs at 7:30am. Today's Hours. A Skyride round-trip is included with a Mountain Admission Ticket or Annual Pass . Advance online ticket purchase recommended. Grouse Mountain is pleased to offer the Skyride Surf Adventure during the summer season.

  5. The Grouse Grind. Not for the faint of heart, the Grouse Grind is a 2.5 km elevated trail, also known as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster”. It starts at the base of Grouse Mountain in the parking lot, and there are 2,830 steps with an elevation gain of 2,624 feet. The trail takes you all the way to the peak of the mountain.

  6. The Skyride Opens On December 15, 1966, the 45 passenger Grouse Mountain Skyride was opened and dedicated by Premier W.A.C. Bennett. A new mountain station with two restaurants, gift shops and other facilities accompanied the opening of the Skyride, as did a new valley station complete with 1,000 paved parking spots.
