Gustav III, född 13 januari ( g.s.) 24 januari ( n.s.) 1746 i Kungshuset på Riddarholmen i Stockholm, död 29 mars 1792 på Stockholms slott, var kung av Sverige från 1771 fram till sin död. Han var son till Adolf Fredrik och Lovisa Ulrika, bror till Karl XIII, far till Gustav IV Adolf, och kusin till Katarina II av Ryssland.
