Sep 14, 2020 · Brown arrives at the Twin Cities NBC affiliate after working at WKOW in Wisconsin. In fact, his last day at WKOW was Sunday, so his transition from Madison to KARE's Golden Valley studios happened in less than 24 hours. Prior to his forecasting duties in Madison he worked at KGWN in Wyoming.
Aug 1, 2023 · BringMeTheNews. Aug 1, 2023. KARE 11 meteorologist Guy Brown is leaving the station this month. In an announcement, Brown said he's accepted a job in New York City as a morning meteorologist with Spectrum News NY1. His last day with KARE 11 will be Aug. 10.
Oct 2, 2023 · Guy Brown is a renowned American meteorologist who currently serves as the morning meteorologist on KARE 11 Sunrise. He joined the station in September of 2020. Previously, Brown worked as a weekend meteorologist for WKOW TV in Madison, Wisconsin. Before that, he was the evening weather anchor at CBS News Channel 5-KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Guy has many years of forecasting experience in various climates around the United States, including Cheyenne, Wyoming; Madison, Wisconsin; and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Brown was born in Washington, D.C., and attended St. Mary’s Ryken High School. He studied Electronic Media and Meteorology at Towson University and Mississippi State University.
