Parking: Parking is at Hengistbury Head Car Park (704 spaces). A 10-minute walk to the beach. Barbecues: No barbecues or campfires at Hengistbury Head, including the beaches. Dogs: Dogs allowed all year - please keep on a lead to protect wildlife as this is a nature reserve.
The main car park is just beside the Hiker Café, opposite the golf course. Parking charges apply - find out the latest charges and opening times here. Finding the Visitor Centre on site. The Visitor Centre is located just past the Hiker Café, on the tarmac path. It's a five minute walk from the main car park (flat, easy access).
There is ample parking at Hengistbury Head beach. The car park uses the JustPark app, in case you want to download before you leave. From the car park, to get to the beach, go towards the cafe selling ice-creams and opposite the toilets, there is a small entrance and a long path towards some picnic tables.
