- Billy Mack & Joe. While the story was a sweet one of love, it doesn't rank high on the list because it portrayed a brotherly love and wasn't romantic in nature.
- Colin & The American Women. Colin believed that British girls didn't understand his humor and that his crass and sometimes obnoxious nature and lack of filter would be viewed as adorable in America.
- Juliet & Mark (& Peter) Despite being responsible for one of the most romantic scenes from the movie with those signboards and the one, in particular, that reads " to me, you are perfect," it's the context of the situation that makes this one more creepy than romantic.
- Sarah & Karl. There's something to say for loved that goes unfulfilled, not because it's unrequited, but because the timing is off and it just genuinely wasn't meant to be.
